About the position

The CAD Drafter position primarily focuses on transitioning files from Creo to SolidWorks, involving tasks such as importing files, redrawing models, and creating assemblies. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy and quality of drafting work during the conversion process. It is a 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Convert files from Creo to SolidWorks.
• Redraw models and drawings in SolidWorks.
• Create assemblies and draft parts as needed.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of drafting work.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth file conversions.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in CAD designing/drafting.
• 1+ years of experience with Creo and SolidWorks.
• Strong drafting skills and understanding of drafting grammar.
• Ability to create models and drawings in SolidWorks.

Nice-to-haves

• Some experience in converting files from Creo to SolidWorks.
• Testing and verifying the accuracy of converted files.
