About the position

The Drafter position at ICF Industries involves creating models and shop drawings to support manufacturing processes. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can analyze problems and improve manufacturing processes while ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy. The Drafter will work closely with production teams and apply knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Create models and shop drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Review PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) to ensure BOM and Routing project success.
• Execute RTP (Revision to print management).
• Maintain high quality and accuracy standards in drafting.
• Learn and apply knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, and Lean Six Sigma.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, drafting, or a related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Computer literacy, including the ability to write simple queries and reports preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Lean Six Sigma.
