About the position

Curt Hofer & Associates is seeking a full-time draftsman to design and draw building plans for high-end residential homes. The role involves creating technical drawings and construction documents that comply with customer desires and applicable building codes, utilizing current drafting standards and software such as Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Creation of technical drawings and plans using primarily Revit
• Generation of construction documents
• Ensuring that designs comply with architectural/municipal requirements
• Keeping current with building codes and building practices
• Maintaining knowledge/proficiency of Revit / AutoCAD and other drafting software
• Sharing ideas and problem solving in a team environment

Requirements

• 3-5+ years AutoCAD experience related to architecture required
• 2+ years Revit experience preferred
• Residential experience preferred
• Associate Degree, preferably in Architecture (combination of education and experience will be considered)
• Self-motivated, willing to learn new technologies and able to work independently & cross-functionally
• Detail-oriented, possessing the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
