About the position

The Waldinger Corporation is seeking a Drafter to join their team, focusing on Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Sheet Metal projects. This role involves utilizing Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD to support various construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in drafting and design. The Drafter will collaborate with Project Managers and detailers, and as they gain experience, they will have opportunities to manage projects and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads internal VDC processes
• Coordinates with Project Managers to ensure job success
• Works hand-in-hand with detailers to ensure all activities are being completed accurately and efficiently
• Manages projects and people once up to speed

Requirements

• Experience with or education in Autodesk Revit (preferred)
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar software
• Excellent 3D visualization and technical skills
• Ability to work alone as well as with others in a professional manner
• High attention to detail
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
