About the position

GH2 Architects, LLC is seeking a Drafter to join their Tulsa, OK office. This full-time position involves working collaboratively within a team to produce detailed construction drawings and maintain Revit models for various projects. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills while contributing to a positive work culture.

Responsibilities

  • Generate detailed construction drawings based on project specifications
  • Create and maintain Revit models for construction projects
  • Collaborate with Architects to ensure design intent is accurately reflected in drawings
  • Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with industry standards
  • Implement design changes and modifications as required
  • Coordinate with project managers to meet project deadlines and milestones
  • Assist in resolving design issues during construction phases
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth project workflow
  • Ensure all drawings are organized and stored appropriately for future reference
  • Conduct quality checks on drawings to eliminate errors and inconsistencies
  • Stay updated on Revit software advancements and industry best practices
  • Assist in developing drafting standards and templates for the team
  • Provide support during design reviews and client meetings
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance Revit drafting skills
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the drafting team.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience working with Revit software in a professional setting
  • Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance; proactive, motivated self-starter
  • Flexibility and ability to handle and manage change effectively and efficiently
  • Experience with Revit at an architecture, design, or engineering firm, with a Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field preferred.
