About the position

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our team, responsible for creating detailed custom home drawings and schematics that support various projects within our organization. This role requires proficiency in Sketchup and Chief Architect software, along with a strong understanding of design principles to ensure accuracy and quality in all deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare detailed schematics, layouts, and drawings for construction projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Utilize Chief Architect and Sketchup to create 2D and 3D models.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from customers.
• Maintain organized documentation of all drafts and revisions for future reference.
• Assist in the development of project presentations using 2D animation techniques when necessary.

Requirements

• Proficiency in drafting software including Chief Architect and Sketchup is essential.
• Experience in creating schematics and building layouts for various types of projects.
• A strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members across various departments.
