GPI is seeking a Drainage Engineer to develop innovative drainage solutions for communities in the Tampa and Orlando regions. Responsibilities

• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of conveyance systems.
• Design and analyze cross drains and stormwater management facilities.
• Perform floodplain compensation analysis.
• Design and inspect best management practices for erosion and sediment control.
• Prepare technical documents including drainage reports, pond siting reports, bridge hydraulics reports, and permitting documents.
• Create construction plans consistent with FDOT standards.
• Serve as Drainage Engineer of Record on projects.
• Conduct field reviews, site visits, and project research.
• Assist in the preparation of Letters of Interest (LOIs), Expanded Letters of Interest (ELOIs), and proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 7+ years of relevant FDOT experience.
• Knowledge of FDOT policies, procedures, and standards is preferred.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads, and similar FDOT design software programs.
• Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR).
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.

Nice-to-haves
