About the position

GIS Field Services, Inc. is seeking to hire Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspectors to conduct residential property inspections on behalf of mortgage lenders. With over 20 years of experience in the mortgage field inspection industry, our company is based out of Dallas, TX, and is looking to expand its team in Miami, FL. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule, allowing independent contractors to earn weekly pay while managing their own time. Inspectors will be responsible for verifying property occupancy, reporting general property conditions, and conducting various inspections as required by mortgage lenders. The role involves a mix of exterior inspections and, in some cases, interior access to secured or vacant properties. Inspectors will utilize industry-standard smartphone applications to document their findings and maintain consistent communication with their inspection manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential property inspections for mortgage lenders.
• Verify property occupancy and report general property conditions.
• Conduct letter delivery and posting as required.
• Perform vacant interior walkthroughs and insurance repair progress reports.
• Manage time efficiently to complete inspections within a 3-5 day turnaround time.
• Use a mobile app to document inspections with photographs and comments.
• Communicate consistently with the inspection manager via text, email, and phone.

Requirements

• Valid US driver's license.
• Experience with Aspen Grove ABC#.
• Knowledge of industry-standard smartphone apps such as InspectorADE, EZ Inspections, or SafeView inspect.
• Experience conducting occupancy inspections or similar roles.
• Access to a fuel-efficient vehicle.
• Ability to work during daylight hours.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with HUD keys (set of 11).
• Possession of a volt stick.
