About the position
The Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspector role involves conducting residential property inspections on behalf of mortgage lenders. Inspectors will verify property occupancy, assess general property conditions, and report findings using mobile applications. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to earn weekly pay while working independently.
Responsibilities
- Conduct residential property inspections to verify occupancy and report conditions.
- Utilize mobile applications to document findings and capture photographs.
- Manage time effectively to complete inspections within a 3-5 day turnaround.
- Communicate consistently with the inspection manager via text, email, and phone.
- Drive to various locations within the assigned territory to perform inspections.
Requirements
- Valid US driver's license.
- Experience with Aspen Grove ABC#.
- Access to a fuel-efficient vehicle.
- Smartphone (iPhone or Android) with industry-standard inspection apps.
- Computer with internet connection for documentation and reporting.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience conducting occupancy inspections in the past.
- Familiarity with mobile inspection applications like InspectorADE, EZ Inspections, or SafeView inspect.
- Possession of HUD keys (set of 11).
- Availability during daylight hours for inspections.
