About the position
The Driver position at the Center for Family Services involves providing essential transportation services to mental health consumers, ensuring their safe travel to various appointments and activities. This part-time role is crucial in supporting the organization's mission to improve lives through dedicated service and care.
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation to mental health consumers to appointments, recreational, socialization, and shopping trips, and to/from the Self-Help Center as assigned.
- Assist in the implementation of a transportation system for mental health consumers.
- Coordinate transportation needs with the Better Future Self-Help Center.
- Coordinate and develop consumer pick-up lists for all scheduled trips, activities, and appointments.
- Ensure the safe transportation of consumers who utilize the service.
- Complete all paperwork as required within specific timeframes.
- Arrange and ensure that all services for the vehicle are performed and completed as scheduled.
- Provide input to the Center on consumer transportation needs and help develop and revise transportation services as needed.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed/assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and good driving record.
