About the position

The Driver Compensation Analyst at J.B. Hunt Transport is responsible for providing comprehensive support for driver compensation initiatives. This role involves collaborating with business leadership, HR Operations, and Business Partners to enhance efficiency, improve processes, and implement projects related to driver compensation. The analyst will conduct data audits, ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations, and provide consultation on pay changes, all while maintaining strong relationships across various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct data audits and present findings and recommendations to leadership on a normal cadence ensuring data integrity, wage and hour compliance, and alignment to pay policies and practices.
  • Keep abreast of compensation-related changes to legislation and guide the business on potential risks and financial impact.
  • Provide consultation to leaders in the review of pay changes and/or creation of new plans on an individual level for their assigned client group(s).
  • Build collaborative relationships with team members to ensure effective business support across all units by providing guidance and recommendations on compensation data and practices.
  • Implement training sessions for managers on compensation related topics.
  • Assist with seasonal processes and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Management, Economics, Education, Mathematics, or a related field with 1+ years of relevant work experience; or 2 years of combined relevant experience, education, or training.
