About the position
TruckMovers is seeking independent contractor drivers with or without their own tow vehicle to deliver trucks locally, regionally, and over-the-road (OTR). This position offers drivers the freedom to operate on their own schedule and choose the types of loads they deliver, with minimal investment in equipment and no truck ownership required. Responsibilities
- Transport new and used trucks from various locations to delivery points throughout the region.
- Choose types of loads to deliver based on personal preference and availability.
- Maintain communication with the company regarding delivery schedules and routes.
- Ensure safety and compliance with all driving regulations during transport.
Requirements
- Valid CDL (Class A or B) license required.
- 18 months of over-the-road (OTR) driving experience preferred.
- Ability to operate independently and manage time effectively.
Nice-to-haves
- Possession of a personal tow vehicle and hitch for returning from deliveries is a plus.
- Having a passport is advantageous for certain routes.
