About the position
The Driver Crew Member position at Juniper Landscaping involves a dual role of driving a company truck and working alongside the landscape maintenance crew. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the safe and efficient execution of landscape maintenance tasks while providing excellent service to clients. Responsibilities
- Safely driving a company work truck with a 24' trailer.
- Performing daily vehicle inspections.
- Working as a member of the landscape maintenance crew and completing job site tasks including mowing, edging, blowing, pruning, planting, weed pulling, applying mulch, and general landscape maintenance duties.
- Using hand tools, power tools, and/or equipment to perform landscape duties.
- Moving soil, equipment, and materials.
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License and ability to clear a Motor Vehicle Record check required.
- Experience safely driving a truck & trailer.
- Landscaping experience preferred.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight).
- Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day.
- Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in landscaping preferred.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
