Driver - Fuel Distribution System Operator

About the position

LB&B Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time Fuel Distribution System Operator for the Craney Island Fuel Depot in Norfolk, VA. This position involves operating bulk storage and distribution systems, ensuring fuel quality, and performing maintenance tasks. The role requires flexibility in working hours, including potential weekend shifts, and offers the opportunity to work locally with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulk storage and distribution systems including pipeline receipts and issues.
• Manage barge and tanker load and offloads.
• Oversee terminal pipe pumping systems and tanker truck loading rack operations.
• Conduct spill clean-up and maintenance scheduling.
• Ensure hazardous waste management and fuel quality assurance operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in bulk storage and distribution systems operations.
• Experience with pipeline receipts and issues, barge and tanker load and offloads.
• Knowledge of terminal pipe pumping systems and tanker truck loading rack operations.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior military fuels experience preferred.
