About the position

The Driver Helper position at Performance Foodservice plays a crucial role in the food supply chain by assisting delivery drivers in ensuring timely and safe delivery of products to customers. This role involves loading and unloading products, maintaining customer relationships, and adhering to safety regulations while performing essential duties to support the company's operations.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Loads and unloads truck and/or company vehicles.
• Uses a 2-wheel hand truck with weights up to 350 pounds.
• Delivers 150 cases per hour.
• Places products in areas identified by customers.
• Completes required documentation in a timely manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• 1+ years in warehouse environment and interfacing with customers within foodservice industry.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
