Currently, we are seeking a DRIVER MANAGER for our Atlanta, GA facility for a full-time position with excellent benefits. Driver Managers are the core of our business, responsible for the day to day transportation operations, working directly with our professional drivers to ensure effective planning and execution of expectations for service excellence. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain driver relationships through the understanding of meeting the needs of the driver while weighing the expectations of the customer
- Execute a timely and accurate exchange of data as it relates to driver availability, pre-planned load assignments, load assignments, and the service and tracking of company equipment
- Independent assessment to comply with all DOT regulations and hours of service rules and ability to incorporate those rules, effectively
- Ensure fulfillment of fleet needs
- Coordinate the scheduling of company equipment for repair and preventative maintenance
- Provide support and collaborate; team efforts to develop, grow, and maximize utilization
