About the position

The Driver for the Mobile Dental Lab at Ascension is responsible for operating and maintaining the mobile dental unit, ensuring safe transportation and setup at various offsite locations. This role involves patient interaction, vehicle maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols, contributing to the delivery of dental services in the community.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and drive mobile unit in service area.
• Check in patients at various offsite locations.
• Drive, set up and break down the mobile unit at each offsite location.
• Maintain checklists and maintenance logs of vehicle.
• Clean unit at the end of each shift.
• Register and check in patients at offsite locations.
• Follow all safety precautions.

Requirements

• Driver License specializing in Commercial credentialed from the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
