About the position

The Full-Time Local Driver position at Frito-Lay involves transporting snacks to local destinations, unloading products, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role is crucial to PepsiCo's success, as it supports the distribution of popular products like Lay's, Cheetos, and Doritos. The position requires physical stamina and flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the truck prior to trips and upon return to the facility.
• Load and unload trailers, delivering products to grocery retailers and Frito-Lay Product Exchange Centers.
• Obtain signatures of receipt from the appropriate contacts upon delivery.
• Pick up products that are due to be returned.
• Complete logs and other paperwork related to deliveries.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Capability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to five hours daily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to work in environments with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.
