We're on the hunt for a detail-oriented, enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Driver Onboarding /Processor Specialist. As our Driver Onboarding/Processor Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring every driver applicant meets our company standards and DOT regulations by verifying their employment history. In this role, you’ll be the go-to for collecting and processing all the vital documents, from past employment records and verifying driving experience. With your eagle eye for detail, you'll make sure everything lines up perfectly with our policies and the Department of Transportation guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Recruiting Team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new drivers.
  • Verify employment history, collect required documentation, and maintain compliance with DOT and company regulations.
  • Communicate effectively to address any missing information, resolve issues promptly, and keep all stakeholders informed throughout the onboarding process.
  • Process and qualify applicants based on Safety Risk Management criteria.
  • Verify prior employment and confirm the applicant’s previous driving experience as part of the driver qualification process.
  • Enhance efficiency by reducing the time Safety spends reviewing applications by providing high-quality applicant files.
  • Track and update applicant information using Tenstreet and other platforms to ensure compliance.
  • Manage driver files to maintain operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Act as the liaison between applicants, recruiters, and management to provide updates and resolve any issues.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of transportation administrative experience is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to the trucking industry, driver processing, or recruiting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA rules.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with drivers, recruiters, and internal teams.
  • Problem-solving skills to address issues quickly.
  • Trustworthy and professional in handling sensitive information.
  • Team player who collaborates with recruiting, HR, and safety teams.
  • Adaptable and proactive in response to changing needs.
