About the position

Knight Transportation is looking for a highly motivated sales and customer service focused individual to join the Driver Recruiting team. In this role, you'll be contacting inbound leads who are wanting to drive for Knight. It is your responsibility to pre-qualify the driver, answer questions, inform about our driving routes & pay, and ultimately sell them on Knight's culture and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Understand and SELL our company culture and benefits
• Contact all new leads the day they are received using 3 methods of contact (Phone, Email, Text)
• Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, pay, and specialty and dedicated opportunities
• Establish rapport with potential driving associates by seeking to understand their career goals and interests
• Guide the driver through the hiring process from lead to hire

Requirements

• Customer service background in a sales-oriented environment
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience preferred
