Responsibilities

  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize a variety of recruitment channels such as online job boards, social media, referrals, and industry associations to identify potential driver candidates.
  • Screening and Interviewing: Review applications and resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and arrange in-person or virtual interviews with qualified candidates.
  • Assessment: Evaluate candidates' qualifications, including their driving experience, certifications, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Onboarding: Guide candidates through the onboarding process, assisting with background checks, drug screenings, and necessary paperwork.
  • Relationship Building: Foster and maintain positive relationships with candidates to ensure a smooth and welcoming recruitment experience.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor recruitment efforts, and market conditions to tailor recruitment strategies effectively.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all hiring processes align with relevant laws and regulations, including DOT requirements.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on recruitment activities and results.
  • Flexibility for Weekend Work: Be willing to work on weekends when required to assist drivers and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Proven Recruitment Experience (3-5 Years): Demonstrated success in recruiting, preferably within the transportation or logistics sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the transportation industry, including DOT regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
  • Sourcing Expertise: Proficient in leveraging various recruitment channels, including Ten Street, Driver IQ, online job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
  • Screening & Interviewing Proficiency: Skilled in evaluating resumes, conducting interviews, and assessing both qualifications and cultural fit.
