About the position

The Van Driver/CNA position at The Madison on Marsh is primarily responsible for transporting Center Residents to their scheduled physician and dialysis appointments, as well as to various outings organized by the Center. This role combines driving responsibilities with the duties of a Certified Nursing Assistant, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents during transportation.

Responsibilities

• Transport Center Residents to prearranged physician and dialysis appointments.
• Transport Residents on scheduled outings arranged by the Center.
• Maintain and coordinate a weekly usage schedule with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing (DON).
• Ensure the cleanliness and good repair of the vehicle, both exterior and interior.
• Maintain required documents for vehicle operation, including ownership information, proof of insurance, and maintenance logs.
• Ensure that the vehicle's registration, inspection, and insurance are current.
• Complete Competency Training Checklist successfully.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Driver's License.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Current CPR Training Card.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• No outstanding criminal or civil citations.
