About the position

We are seeking a skilled Driver with mechanical knowledge to join our team at a Rental House located in North Hollywood/Burbank. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing efficient and safe delivery of carts and bathrooms to our clients. This role requires a passion for customer service, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in operating various vehicles, including stakebed trucks, cube trucks, and big rigs. While a Class A license is preferred, it is not required. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive their rental supplies in a timely and safe manner, while also maintaining the vehicles used for these deliveries. This position is full-time and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where customer satisfaction is a top priority.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload equipment onto the truck.
• Deliver carts and bathrooms to clients efficiently and safely.
• Deliver rental supplies to clients in cube trucks.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Perform basic automotive diagnostics and minor repairs when necessary.
• Demonstrate expertise in commercial driving practices.
• Maintain and inspect trucks regularly to ensure they are in good working condition before they go out on jobs.
• Assist in the warehouse when deliveries are slow.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing tires and performing vehicle maintenance checks.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in the warehouse when not on deliveries.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in operating vehicles, including stakebed trucks, cube trucks, and big rigs.
• Knowledge of automotive repair techniques.
• Mechanical aptitude for basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle issues accurately.
