About the position
The Driver position at Genuine Foods is responsible for making timely deliveries of meals to various school sites, ensuring food safety and quality. This role involves engaging with students and staff, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle. Responsibilities
- Ensure all food is delivered on time while maintaining food safety standards.
- Drive carefully and abide by all traffic laws while following designated routes and schedules.
- Load and unload products from the delivery van to schools.
- Keep the delivery van clean and sanitized.
- Alert the Site Lead or Manager on duty of any issues in a timely manner.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience as a dependable driver with catering or food delivery experience.
- Clean driving record (background check will be conducted).
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Punctuality and adherence to time and attendance policy.
- Ability to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Interest in and commitment to the mission of Genuine Foods.
