The Driver/Warehouse Employee position at Standard Supply involves driving a box truck and performing warehouse duties. This role is essential for ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the flow of operations within the distribution center. Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck or equivalent safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws.
• Ensure customer signs the packing list upon delivery.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and report any issues to the branch manager.
• Follow warehouse procedures for product pickup and delivery.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently.
• Pull orders in the warehouse using a forklift or push-cart.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• One year of verifiable driving experience with a box truck or equivalent.
• Clear driving record free of major or repeated infractions.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
• Ability to load and unload the truck at the time of delivery.
• Ability to sit for 20+ minutes at a time.
• Ability to push/pull at least 50+ pounds.
• Ability to climb up and down ladders.
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, and kneel.
• Ability to handle large, odd-shaped items and stock items in overhead areas.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
