About the position
The Omnibus driver is responsible for safely transporting patients to and from the program as pre-arranged. This role requires the ability to work a split schedule for morning pickups and afternoon drop-offs, ensuring clients are transported on time and in a safe manner.
Responsibilities
- Transport clients safely and on schedule to and from the program.
- Maintain concentration and alertness to surroundings during transport.
- Make accurate and timely observations and respond safely and appropriately during potential emergency situations.
Requirements
- Must possess a clean driving record.
- Completed associate's degree and two years' experience in the provision of appropriate services to youth; or a high school diploma and five years' experience in the provision of appropriate services to youth.
- Experience in providing appropriate services to youth includes volunteer work, community work, or relevant work experience of at least 5 years.
- Mid-level CDL preferred.
