About the position
The Environmental Services Driver at GrayMar Environmental Services, LLC is responsible for the safe transportation of non-hazardous and hazardous waste materials using various vehicle types. This role supports the local branch and involves performing tasks under the guidance of a supervisor, including emergency response activities and remedial tasks.
Responsibilities
- Transport non-hazardous and hazardous waste materials using multiple vehicle types including Roll-Offs, Tankers, Box Vans, and Air Movers.
- Perform non-emergency and emergency response activities involving confined space entry, such as manholes and tank cleaning.
- Engage in oil spill cleanup, drum handling, and decontamination tasks.
- Conduct sweeping, shoveling, and high-pressure washing as part of various remedial activities.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in driving commercial vehicles and handling hazardous materials.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work in confined spaces.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in environmental services or waste management.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to hazardous materials.
