About the position

The Driver position at Northland PACE Senior Care Services is essential for providing safe and timely transportation for elderly participants. This role involves working closely with an interdisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for individuals aged 55 and older who require community-based care. The ideal candidate will be energetic, compassionate, and committed to serving the elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to participants in a timely manner.
• Communicate important information relevant to the overall care plan to the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist participants with wheelchair and ambulatory transfers between home and the van, and between the Day Center and the van.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, valid North Dakota driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Experience working with the elderly is desirable.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working as a driver in a medical setting.
• Customer service experience (2 years preferred).
