About the position

The Driver position at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK involves providing exceptional customer service while safely moving, packing, and unpacking customers' belongings. This role offers opportunities for career growth and advancement, with training provided for those who do not currently have a commercial driver's license. The position is available in both part-time and full-time capacities, with flexible scheduling from Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon arrival and complete a walk-through of the premises.
• Provide exceptional customer service while moving, packing, and unpacking belongings.
• Work with a team to load and unload the moving truck.
• Accurately complete paperwork and collect payments.
• Safely drive and maneuver a 26-foot moving truck.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age due to insurance restrictions.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Stamina to lift and carry heavy items (75 lbs. or more) repeatedly while climbing stairs, balancing, walking, etc.
• Strong problem-solving ability.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a non-CDL driver or in general labor, loading, unloading, landscaping, construction, production, manufacturing, factory, assembly, or warehouse.
