About the position

Cantor's Driving School is seeking part-time Driving Instructors, specifically hiring only former police officers and first responders. The role involves teaching safe and defensive driving techniques to students in the Las Vegas area, including North Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City. Instructors will be responsible for providing lessons in a company vehicle and ensuring a positive learning experience for students of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Teach safe and defensive driving techniques to students.
• Provide driving lessons in a company vehicle.
• Pick up and drop off students at their locations.
• Accompany students to the DMV for their driving tests.
• Maintain the training vehicle and report any maintenance needs.
• Complete required training and observation hours.
• Work a flexible schedule, including at least one weekend day.

Requirements

• Valid Nevada Driver's License.
• Experience in safe and defensive driving.
• Genuine passion for helping people learn.
• Calm and patient approach to teaching.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (bilingual in Spanish is a plus).
• Motivated and excited to connect with new people.
• Safe driving background and ability to pass background checks.
• Ability to sit for long periods in a training vehicle.
