About the position
The Driving Instructor at Nova Driving School in Chicago is responsible for providing high-quality driving instruction to students. The role emphasizes not only teaching essential driving skills but also ensuring a memorable educational experience. The instructor will coordinate with various departments to maintain vehicle compliance, manage schedules, and oversee the quality of driving lessons.
Responsibilities
- Provide driving instruction to students, ensuring they acquire safe and competent driving skills.
- Coordinate with the Fleet department for the proper use and maintenance of assigned vehicles.
- Work with the Calendars department to manage schedules and avoid cancellations of driving classes.
- Collaborate with Quality Control departments to supervise driving lessons and provide feedback to students for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in driving instruction or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively teach and engage students.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience as a driving instructor or in a teaching role.
- Familiarity with driving education techniques and curriculum development.
