Responsibilities
- Instruct teens on safe and defensive driving skills in a one-on-one setting.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with students during driving lessons.
- Remain calm in stressful situations and provide encouragement to students.
- Identify teachable moments and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Learn and apply the Safe Driving Coach process for instructing students.
Requirements
- Valid PA Driver's License
- Ability to pass a Federal background check with fingerprint screening
- State criminal record check
- Child abuse clearance
- 3-year PA driving/DMV report
- Vaccinated and Boosted
- 5 years of teaching experience
- 10 years of driving experience
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in coaching or healthcare
- Previous experience as a police officer
