About the position
As a Driving Instructor on the AAA Driving School team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing traffic safety by educating teens and adults on safe driving fundamentals. This position involves teaching safe driving techniques, maintaining a positive learning environment, and ensuring compliance with state driving laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct behind-the-wheel training for drivers of all ages and experience levels according to the AAA Driving School curriculum.
- Utilize driving school software to record and maintain student progress.
- Evaluate student performance and provide additional support as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of safe driving and defensive driving practices.
- Keep all records required by the state of California.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
- 3-5 years of driving experience.
- Experience in driving instruction, teaching, education, or the automotive industry.
- Ability to interact well with the public, especially teens.
- Flexibility to accommodate student availability, including working weekends.
