About the position

The Count Team Attendant is responsible for various physical tasks related to the collection and counting of gaming device drop boxes at Turfway Park Racing and Gaming. This role requires adherence to company policies and state gaming regulations, ensuring the accurate handling of cash and maintaining a clean work environment. The position starts early in the morning and may require working weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company count policies and procedures and state gaming regulatory requirements.
• Collect gaming device drop boxes from HRM machines.
• Safeguard un-audited assets in storage carts.
• Open and empty un-audited money from drop boxes.
• Run money through the currency counter for counting.
• Record cash and paperwork activity on drop count sheets.
• Verify each shift's bundles and strapped currency on a scope basis.
• Key in information into the computer.
• Clean up the count room area.
• Conduct oneself in a manner that reflects positively on the property.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience and a gaming background preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a license to work at the facility from the regulatory body.
