About the position

The Drug Rebate Analyst is responsible for reviewing and resolving disputes related to Medicaid Drug Rebate payments from manufacturers. This fully remote position requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills to verify claims data, negotiate with drug manufacturers, and ensure timely processing of invoices.

Responsibilities

• Verify claims data by contacting pharmacy and medical providers to ensure accuracy.
• Resolve disputed drug rebate claims by researching utilization and preparing resolution proposals.
• Negotiate with drug manufacturers to settle disputes fairly and accurately.
• Track dispute resolution activities and manage daily work queues to ensure timely processing of invoices.
• Follow up with drug manufacturers to secure payments for outstanding invoices.

Requirements

• Experience with Medicaid Drug Rebates, medical/pharmacy claims processing, or pharmacy/medical billing (preferred).
• Familiarity with PRIMS, SSRS Reports, Process Manager, or other drug rebate systems (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PDF editing software (Adobe, Nitro Pro, PDF Escape).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a paperless environment.
