About the position
Idaho Rhythm LLC is seeking passionate and dedicated Drum Instructors to join our team. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work with children and families, making a positive impact in the community through music education. Instructors will teach drums and potentially other instruments, contributing to our rapidly growing music program.
Responsibilities
- Teach drum lessons to students of various ages and skill levels.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the overall music program.
- Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress and expectations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in behavior management and curriculum development.
- Ability to teach drums and potentially other instruments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in early childhood education.
- Additional skills in teaching other instruments such as guitar, voice, or piano.
