About the position
The Dry Goods Assistant Store Manager is responsible for motivating associates to provide exceptional customer service while also executing the duties of a sales associate. This role involves training, coaching, and leading by example to develop relationships that enhance store business and achieve sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Motivate associates to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Train, coach, and lead by example.
- Develop relationships to grow store business.
- Execute all duties of a sales associate and achieve individual sales and account goals.
- Assess associate performance to improve service quality and increase sales.
- Develop and implement solutions to solve customer problems and store needs.
- Be available to work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Experience in retail management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Ability to assess and improve associate performance.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
