About the position
As a Store Manager at Dry Goods, you will drive retail growth by motivating associates to provide exceptional customer service and create a fashionable store environment. Your role involves supporting the brand's goals, enhancing customer engagement, and ensuring the store meets its operational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Motivate store employees to deliver outstanding customer service and lead by example.
- Execute all duties of a sales associate and keyholder.
- Coordinate the interview process, including screenings, interviews, and references.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels and forecast future staffing needs.
- Assess associate performance to improve service quality and increase sales, providing feedback and evaluations.
- Develop associates' skills through ongoing training for new and existing employees.
- Complete payroll and time clock maintenance.
- Administer employee benefit enrollment and usage.
- Implement merchandising plans and monitor the store's visual appearance and cleanliness.
- Develop and implement solutions to solve customer problems and business needs.
- Be available to work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills to drive team performance.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for fashion.
- Ability to conduct interviews and assess candidate qualifications.
- Experience in payroll and employee benefits administration.
