About the position
As a Store Manager at Dry Goods, you will be responsible for driving retail growth by motivating associates and enhancing customer engagement. Your role will involve overseeing store operations, ensuring a fashionable and inspiring environment, and achieving store goals through effective leadership and training.
Responsibilities
- Motivate store employees to deliver outstanding customer service and lead by example.
- Execute all duties of a sales associate and keyholder.
- Coordinate the interview process, including screenings, interviews, and references.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels and forecast future staffing needs.
- Assess associate performance to improve service quality and increase sales, providing feedback and performance evaluations.
- Develop associates' skills to meet store goals through ongoing training for new and existing employees.
- Complete payroll and time clock maintenance.
- Administer employee benefit enrollment and usage.
- Implement merchandising plans and monitor the store's visual appearance and cleanliness.
- Develop and implement solutions to solve customer problems and business needs.
- Be available to work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Mid-level experience in retail management or a related field.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills to drive team performance.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Experience in conducting interviews and managing staffing needs.
- Ability to assess performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Strong organizational skills for payroll and time clock maintenance.
