About The Position

The Disease Specific Care Reviewer-Ortho is responsible for reviewing various certification programs including Total Hip Replacement, Total Knee Replacement, Spine, Total Shoulder Replacement, Total Ankle Replacement, Hip Fracture, and the Advanced Total Joint Replacement Program. Reviewers are expected to be knowledgeable about best practices in Orthopedics and provide partner organizations with educational and inspirational reviews. The goal of certification is to ensure that patients receive evidence-based orthopedic care and that the program continually monitors its performance of that care.

Requirements

• Advanced Degree in Nursing or Licensure as a Physician required.
• Board Certification in Orthopedics required.
• Doctorate prepared Physical Therapist may also qualify.
• Five years active experience in Orthopedics required.
• Familiarity with Disease Specific Care Certification programs for Orthopedics.

Responsibilities

• Review certification programs related to orthopedic procedures.

• Ensure compliance with evidence-based orthopedic care standards.
