Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but they will include performing personal care tasks such as feeding and ambulation, monitoring medical needs, and encouraging self-help activities. You will also accompany clients to their scheduled appointments, ensuring they receive the support they need. This role requires a strong commitment to client safety and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally. Responsibilities

  • Performing personal care tasks, including feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring.
  • Assist with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates.
  • Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Encouraging self-help activities.
  • Accompanying clients to scheduled appointments.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a group home, home-like setting.
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external.
