This role is essential in providing support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, ensuring they lead fulfilling lives while maintaining their dignity and independence. The ideal candidate will have a passion and/or experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and be knowledgeable about resident rights and care plans. We provide full benefits, medical, dental and vision as well as 401K retirement plan. You must go through a medical/TB test, background check, CPR/First Aid completed. We are looking for the following Shifts: - Monday to Sunday 2pm to 10pm (PM Shifts) - some shifts can start at 1pm to 9pm. -Monday to Sunday 10pm to 6/7am (NOC Shifts) Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences. Monitor clients' health and well-being, providing patient care as necessary. Support clients in social interactions and community engagement activities. Ensure the rights of residents are upheld at all times, fostering a respectful environment. Provide first aid when required and maintain a safe living environment for clients. Document client progress and report any changes in behavior or health to the appropriate personnel. Requirements Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients effectively. Strong skills in patient monitoring and care, with a focus on safety and well-being. Familiarity with behavior care practices is a plus. Ability to prepare nutritious meals that cater to individual dietary needs. Certification in First Aid/CPR is required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
