Responsibilities

• Promote choice and provide appropriate support to individuals.
• Coordinate activities to foster individual well-being, growth, and development.
• Ensure implementation of services and programs outlined in individuals' ISP.
• Supervise and coordinate daily living skills including personal care, recreation, meal prep, and household chores.
• Maintain current training certifications.
• Communicate professionally and timely with co-workers, supervisors, families, and guardians.
• Record and maintain individuals' records in Therap as assigned.
• Administer medications in accordance with DDS regulations.
• Advocate for individuals and teach self-advocacy skills.
• Ensure protection of individuals' rights and safety by following HIPAA regulations.
• Intervene in emergencies and behavioral situations as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe home or program space.
• Follow doctors' orders and guidelines to assure individuals' health and well-being.
• Transport individuals to community sites as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• CPR Certification
• Medication administration skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Supervising experience
