About the position

The DSP Program Assistant position at AdvanceCare Health Services, LLC is a full-time role focused on overseeing the care of individuals within the ECF, CLS, and DDA Department. The Program Manager will ensure compliance with state and agency requirements while maintaining up-to-date records. This hybrid position allows for a combination of remote work and in-office responsibilities, requiring strong organizational and leadership skills to empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives in their communities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure visits, staffing, and other plans are kept up to date.
  • Obtain and upload documentation and other items as required to maintain up-to-date records.
  • Perform site visits and audits as scheduled.
  • Monitor and follow up on required drills and community visits as required.
  • Provide training including but not limited to pre-service and in-service training.
  • Work with families, providers, and other agencies monthly.
  • Assist as needed with Incident Management and Corrective Action Committees.
  • Enforce standard company policies and procedures and ensure all are in compliance.
  • Develop schedules for annual drills, appointments, meetings, etc., and provide reports to the director.
  • Ensure all clients' files, records, plans, and lists are up-to-date and maintained according to policy/procedure.
  • Meet attendance requirements established by the Director.
  • Work a flexible schedule and on-call rotations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment helpful.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and courteously with others.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
  • Thoroughness and careful attention to detail.
  • Ability to document and analyze documentation.
  • Knowledge of office computer applications and Microsoft Office suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in caregiving - personal (1 year required).
  • Experience in DSP (1 year preferred).
  • Experience in caregiving - professional (1 year preferred).
  • Experience as a House Manager (1 year preferred).
