About the position

The Digital Technology Program Management Office is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of digital technology projects, particularly focusing on the S4 HANA journey. This role involves developing project plans, schedules, and budgets, while facilitating collaboration across various functional organizations. The ideal candidate will lead multiple projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and customer expectations, and will be responsible for managing project deliverables and team dynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and manage project vision with project leadership team.
  • Define deliverables, scope of work, and develop detailed project schedules.
  • Build highly effective project teams and establish relationships with impacted departments.
  • Communicate expectations and instill accountability in team members.
  • Resolve conflicts, promote work sharing, and motivate teams toward common goals.
  • Apply project management principles including financial management, scope and schedule management, and risk management.
  • Make timely and sound business decisions that support business objectives.
  • Summarize and present key information to senior leadership.
  • Manage multiple projects, tasks, and resources through effective organization and prioritization.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement and lean initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience, or 14 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • 3+ years' experience building and managing schedules in MS Project.
  • 3+ years' experience leading digital technology projects.
  • 3+ years' experience leading data migration/conversions & data cleansing activities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in a government and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing projects in S4 HANA Application implementation.
  • Experience with multiple project methodologies including waterfall and agile Scrum methodology.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
