About the position

The DTC Buyer at Liberated Brands is responsible for managing all aspects of buying for assigned departments and classifications within Direct-to-Consumer Channels. This role focuses on meeting financial targets, analyzing sales performance, and collaborating with various teams to drive sales and promotional strategies. The position requires a strong understanding of retail dynamics and the ability to identify market trends and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of buying for assigned departments and classifications for Direct-to-Consumer Channels.
• Participate in weekly business review meetings and monthly OTB meetings, presenting in-depth analysis of respective departments.
• Identify key opportunities to maximize sales and drive processes to meet financial objectives.
• Oversee the OTB and recommend promotional strategies and markdowns as necessary.
• Maintain expert knowledge of the industry through store visits and competitive analysis.
• Analyze sales performance and gather marketplace/trend information to identify business opportunities.
• Identify key trends, new brands, ideas, and influencers relevant to the target consumer.
• Communicate and collaborate with Merchandise and Design teams.
• Partner with Store Operations, Visual Merchandising, Ecomm Merchandising, and Marketing teams to align on key stories and promotions.
• Work with the Visual team to create strong floor sets to drive maximum sales.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of retail buying experience
• Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) or equivalent work experience
• Strong retail math acumen
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel domestically
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Team player
• Strong MS Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Full Circle and KWI experience a plus
