About the position

The DTRA Program Manager of Reverse Engineering is responsible for overseeing technical analysis, reverse engineering, and the development and fabrication of integrated circuits and related materials. This role involves providing technical recommendations to the government, managing development projects, and ensuring compliance with security and administrative requirements. The position requires expertise in microelectronics design and production, as well as the ability to develop techniques and tooling for reverse engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical analysis and reverse engineering of integrated circuits and packaging materials.
• Oversee studies and development projects, providing technical recommendations to the government.
• Investigate technical questions and provide advisement and analysis as needed.
• Conduct administrative and managerial activities to ensure compliance with security and resource management requirements.
• Lead the development and fabrication of digital, analog, RF, and mixed signal microelectronics designs and prototypes.
• Develop techniques, tooling, and materials for reproducing reverse engineered packaging materials.

Requirements

• Experience in reverse engineering microchips and hardware (integrated circuits).
• Preferably experience working in University Affiliated Research Centers or National Laboratories.
