About the position

The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) serves as the primary facilitator between an assigned Business/Clinical Portfolio and the Digital Technology Services (DTS) organization. The BRM's main role is to align DTS services with the strategic vision of Intermountain Healthcare while providing transparency to stakeholders regarding the work being done by DTS. This position involves developing strong relationships with Business/Clinical Portfolio teams, ensuring satisfaction with DTS services, and facilitating strategic discussions to optimize value from DTS capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Trusted Advisor between DTS and Business/Clinical Portfolios.
  • Develop and lead the execution of regular service reviews.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for both DTS services and the assigned Business/Clinical Portfolio.
  • Understand Business/Clinical Portfolio needs and facilitate strategic discussions with DTS.
  • Translate DTS initiatives into actionable insights for the business.
  • Facilitate necessary interactions between stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Participate in Business/Clinical Portfolio team meetings to enable value recognition with DTS capabilities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Intermountain DTS and the Business/Clinical Portfolios.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in information systems or clinical specialty and five years of experience in Information systems, clinical informatics, project management, technology management, or business relationship management.
  • Master's Degree in information systems, business, or clinical specialty and three years of experience in information systems, clinical informatics, project management, or business relationship management.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated strong analysis and problem resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated superior oral and written communication skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with positive outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by influence without line authority.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMI certified
  • Two years of experience collaborating on complex projects and one year leading teams on complex projects.
  • One year of supervisory/leadership experience, responsible for coaching development and staffing.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring and helping develop others.
  • Demonstrated appropriate personal balance between patience and the drive for completion.
  • Experience supporting and sustaining standards.
