About the position

Dynamo Technologies is seeking a DTS System Support Specialist to provide essential support for the Army INSCOM G8 Enhanced Programming and Resource Management Support Services (EPRMSS). This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of the Defense Travel System (DTS) and assisting personnel with their travel-related needs. The specialist will be responsible for reviewing DTS transactions, providing desk-side support, and offering help desk customer support for technical assistance related to DTS. Immediate assistance will be provided as required, ensuring that personnel can navigate the system effectively. In addition to direct support, the DTS System Support Specialist will process newly assigned and departing personnel in DTS, ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed accurately. This includes appointing approving officials and reviewers in compliance with regulatory requirements, preparing documentation to recommend appropriate funding to Lines of Accounting in DTS, and reviewing and processing incoming DTS authorizations and vouchers for validation by government personnel. The specialist will also support the Lead Defense Travel Administrator (LDTA) and maintain accounting of travel expenditures, conducting thorough reviews of travel vouchers to ensure compliance and accuracy. The role further extends to managing the Government Travel Card (GTC) program, which includes processing credit applications and creating or modifying user profiles within Citi Direct. The specialist will assist in GTC account maintenance and provide technical assistance via desk-side, email, and phone support for GTC-related issues. Monthly reports will be prepared to track and analyze travel expenditures, and the specialist will plan, coordinate, and provide training on the DTS to ensure all personnel are well-informed and capable of using the system effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Minimum two (2) years DTS experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), Financial management Regulations (FMR), Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC) Regulations.
  • U.S Citizenship required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Management or 10 years of relevant experience.
