Requirements

• California Real Estate License (preferred).
• NMLS license (preferred).
• Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager or CRMP Certification (or similar certification).
• Minimum 3 years in compliance roles within real estate, mortgage, or related industries.
• Deep knowledge of NMLS, DRE, and CAR regulations.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for training and policy implementation.
• Tech-savvy with experience in compliance software tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with NMLS, CAR, CRMLS, and DRE regulations for all brokerage operations.
• Create, implement, and update compliance policies and procedures to align with state and federal regulations.
• Oversee real estate and mortgage transactions to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare regular compliance reports for executive review.
• Train staff on compliance requirements and provide ongoing support to agents, loan officers, and administrative teams.
• Identify potential compliance risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Conduct internal audits and prepare the company for external audits by regulatory agencies.
